          Christopher J. White, LPC

I am a licensed professional counselor in Pennsylvania, Texas, Tennessee, Nevada, Connecticut, South Carolina, and New Jersey. I am registered in Delaware and Florida to provide telehealth therapy. I have been providing counseling since 2005. 

My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with unconditional positive regard, respect, sensitivity, and empathy. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral and reality/choice theory. The approach addresses automatic negative thoughts and helps clients recognize faulty cognitive patterns and challenges the clients to reframe negative thought patterns into strengths based interventions.

 I have received specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy, trauma informed therapy, and American Society of Addiction Medicine (to determine the appropriate level of care for those with substance use disorders).
